From an artisan in Minnesota come these log slice cutting/serving boards.  From a variety of hardwood trees native to Minnesota, hey are dried, sanded, and finished with a food-grade mineral oil that is safe for use with food. They can be used for cutting, or they can be used as trivets.  Clean with mild dish soap. Air dry and oil occaisionally with food safe mineral oil.
